working principle
The drum dryer is an internal heating conduction type rotary continuous drying device. The rotating drum adheres a film of a thickness through the lower trough, and the heat is transported to the inner wall of the drum through the pipeline, is conducted to the outer wall of the drum, and then the feed film is transferred, so that the moisture in the film is evaporated and dehumidified, so that The moisture-containing material is dried. The dried material is scraped off the drum by the scraper attached to the surface of the drum, to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper, and the dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.
Performance characteristics
◎ High thermal efficiency. Because the heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer is heat conduction, the heat transfer direction is consistent throughout the operation cycle. Except for the cover heat dissipation and heat radiation loss, the rest of the heat is used for the evaporation of the wet film of the film, and the thermal efficiency can reach 70%. -80%.
◎The operation flexibility is large and the applicability is wide. Many drying factors of the drum dryer can be adjusted. For example, the concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating film, the temperature of the heating medium, the rotation speed of the drum, etc., can change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not involved. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, so that it can adapt to the drying of various materials and different production requirements.
◎ Short drying time. The drying cycle of the material is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is placed in a vacuum, it can be operated under reduced pressure.
◎The drying rate is large. Since the coating film is thin on the wall of the cylinder, generally 0.3-1.5mm, and the heat transfer and mass transfer directions are the same, and the surface of the film can maintain the evaporation strength of 20-70kg.H2O/m2.h.
installation
The installation of the machine is arranged according to the general plan. The ground should be level. The inlet of the steam pipe should be equipped with a pressure gauge and a safety valve. The inlet flanges of each steam are firmly connected.
Adaptable material
◎It is suitable for the drying of liquid or viscous materials in chemical, dye, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgical and other industries.
maintain
◎ Regularly check the rotational flexibility of the rotating parts and check if there is any jamming. Greases such as sprocket should be regularly added with grease, and the error of metering devices such as pressure gauges should be corrected regularly. If there is serious wear and tear on the V-belt transmission parts, it should be replaced in time.

debugging
The test run test must be carried out after the machine is installed.
◎ Jog the main motor to observe that the main drum is turning correctly.
◎ Observe whether the rotation of the main drum and each transmission part is flexible, observe whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected, and whether the pressure gauge is within the working pressure range.
◎Start the motor, the main drum moves smoothly, and after adding the material after the temperature rises, adjust the motor speed and the uniformity of the material on the drum to control the final water content of the material.
◎ Start the auger motor, output the dry finished material, and adjust the speed of the auger motor according to the dry finished product.
